Simplify

I have come to realize the less materialistic items I have the smoother my life goes. That's a hard thing to realize. We are taught by mainstream influences materialistics are the key to success. I continue to try and instill the Less Is More in my children. I want them to know that success has nothing to do with how much money. Success is within you. The type of person you are. If you are living your life in the image Christ would want.
Sometimes the materialistic items can make this hard to see. So go in and make space in your home to LIVE.
Less Stuff More LIFE~

You are so right. And it is sometime hard to part with things, but the relief you feel afterwards is worth it! I used to get rid of stuff a lot when we lived in a 2 bdr house...I always said, we have too many people here, there just isn't room for STUFF! haha I am about to that point again. There is just too much stuff in this house.

Catherine,
"I have come to realize the less materialistic items I have the smoother my life goes." - I couldn't agree with you more!

There are so many distractions for people, so many "I want this/that" items, that quickly so many look for happiness and fun in those very temporal items.

We can grow our relationship with Christ, when we are not distracted from His love, spending time reading scripture and praying always leave me feeling nourished and satisfied for long periods of time.

Great blog post!

Maury-I bet the 2 bedroom was a full house!
We have a 3 bedroom with a family of 5. I feel blessed to have all we have been bleesed with.
I would still like a larger home one day. Not anything GREAT. Just a large home with life running through it.

Socrates1- I completely agree with you. It couldn't of been better worded. I too have such an overwhelming amount of contentment when it comes to Christ word and his love for us.
