Do you have an off week as well?

Where have I been this week? Yes that's what I said where have I been? I know we all have weeks as this. My laundry is filling up by the minute. Even being, I still don't want to wash it. Then I begin thinking how nice it would be to just have a few outfits each and how none of us need this many clothes. Ummm should I donate them? If so I wont even have to hang them back up. Next thing I hear is Mommy!!! She took my doll! Oh wow I snap out of the laundry daze and realize donating clothes to reduce chores is crazy! The kids have been climbing up the walls! This is what happens when they are let free to entertain themselves. I was not a fun creative mom this week. We did home school read a few books and basically rested. I'm exhausted this week and just cant get with it. I may need a good vitamin. Poor Allen has been a trooper. Although I have been slacking I have still managed to straighted up on the house and cook dinner. Crock pot dinner is the way to go. Throw it all in and go on with your day. We have had chili three nights this week. Oh and did I tell you we ate our chili out of coffee cups. I know, its terrible. Then I wonder do we all have weeks as this? Surly you do too?! Its harder for me to admit having an off week. One being the way we choose to live our life. I have heard
homeschooling the kids must be getting to you. Why are you putting all this on your shoulders? I love my life and all the responsibilities that come with it. I truly do. This doesn't mean I cant have an off week. So no concerns please. Just let me know you have weeks as this and you too have served chili out of a cup.

My first thought reading this was...:-)! Saying lots of prayers to St. Gerard.
And yes, I have plenty of weeks like this. I know what you mean about not liking to admit it. Last night, I tried to go to taiho-ryu after working the past two nights, and I was drained. I got "the lecture" about how I'm pushing 40 and 5 kids is enough and how I don't need to add any more to my family. :/

From the get go when you said you were tired...I was thinking...hmmm, I wonder, and then you threw in that last part! Crossing my fingers, praying for you!

Girl, I have off days, off weeks...and the whole month of September has been an off MONTH for me! haha I am really hoping things settle down around here soon so I can get back in my groove.

You would have off weeks if you didn't homeschool....everyone has them no matter what. My kids...act the same way when left to tend to their own...drives me crazy.

Hang in there, next thing you know, and you will be back in your groove again.

Besides, I heard you were very helpful to Suz this week, she said you were so good at organizing the kids and getting them motivated. I think it is easier when you are someone else's, isn't it? You just get tired of doing the same ol same ol all the time in your own home.

At least you made chili! Chili from a cup is great! The kids will probably want to do it next time...even if you have clean bowls.

I think eating soup or chili out of cups is neat. We used to do it when I was little...and still do sometimes. You know I have off weeks....thank God for Him being there with us and blessing us with great friends...love you.
