After seeing this adorable idea of a pillowcase dress, I decided to try it out. I went to our second hand store and bought a stack of vintage designs for 25 cents per pillowcase. We washed and ironed them~ Next I googled instructions here. I have to say it was not hard at all. Look how adorable this one came out. They can be worn during any season. The winter I plan on adding a turtleneck along with long leggings, tights, or jeans. Cute Cute Cute.

What a precious little dress. I love that idea.
I just conquered my fear of sewing machines this weekend and pieced two huge quilt blocks together. I think I could try this, don't you?
I'll be posting about my sewing adventure today.
So cute!!!!
I have some little memory trying to pop through about a similar pink dress I made one time.
Super Cute! What an adorable model, too!
This is adorable!!! I'm adding this project to my long list of crafts I'd like to do. :) Thank you for sharing. XOXO
VERY cute. My good friend found the pillowcase dresses last year, and made one for her girl, and my youngest...they were adorable. You did a great job!
These are simply adorable! They would even make for a good smock to keep our kids from getting messy doing painting or other artwork.

Thanks Gals!
Thank you for visiting my blog. The dress is adorable. If you quilt, you can reuse the material after she outgrows it.
What an adorable blog you have here. And a beautiful family!!! Thanks for stopping by and can't wait to start following you!

Totally ingenious! I wish I can sew like you. That's one of the things I have yet to learn. Maybe they'll finally offer a sewing class in our area. Things like this make me miss home (Massachusetts) a lot!
