WHY? You may ask why is she running to me? One morning this week before finding our first egg we went out to feed the animals and I happend to grab my camera trying best to snap a picture of our first freshly laid egg. A little let down that they still had not found an egg the kids took off through the garden, or what used to be our garden. Now just an area of mud, with two small rows of fall seeds and a homemade scarecrow. As I'm sitting there with Sweet pea watching the older two I notice them stop. Little man says, THESE ARE BUCK TRACKS!!! Its so neat to me how comfortable they are with one another. Just look at their little heads resting against each other. The gift of a sibling and a best friend all on one~ So here it is, she was running and yelling mommy look look at what me and C (he) found. Its deer tracks in our yard! I try my best to appreciate, enjoy and even get excited about the little things in life just as our children do. There is so much we can learn by looking at the world through their eyes.

Great pictures! We back to woods and it's always so fun to see what kinds of critters are in our backyard. It's so peaceful just looking out the window.

i love when kids explore the outside world...it helps me to stop and try to see things through their eyes. Everything is new,exciting and a special discovery. And i really love your daughters coat and boots she looks adorable.
Ah to be a child again and see things like they do through fresh eyes and an open mind.
