Be still and know that I am God...

As I sit in front of this stunning view all of life's chaos begins to fade into the distance. There is no busy traffic, no piles of laundry, the only sounds around me are the sounds of nature and my children's giggle. As I sit, there are no political debates, no scares of the swine flu or even the vaccination for the swine, no busy factories, no terrorist threats and attacks. Life stands still. This is when I not only can hear but I begin to see one of my favorite verses. "Be Still And Know That I Am God" Its wonderful for the soul to step out of your day to day routine and allow your soul to grow in the peace of the Lord. ~Catherine

Thank you so much Catherine for coming over to my blog. I so enjoyed readying your posts on your first page. Beautiful and precious children. I love!!!!!!!!! attachment parenting. I did so with my children when there really wasn't a name for it other then momma wanting to be close to her children. hehehe.

I love your heart. It is so precious. Oh, it makes me want to still be raising little ones. I am 57 and still could be a Sarah and be having children!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well I can't but I wish I could. They are a true gift from the Lord and who doesn't want a gift????

Anyway thanks for stopping by.I will be back for sure.

Enjoy those little ones!!!
Blessings, Linda

Thank you thank you thank you for showing these lines to my eyes, my heart and my soul. How wonderful that you too stand still at moments like this. I do that so often and it gives me new energy over and over again. At moments like this you know feel and understand God is You.

What a wonderful post! Thanks for the reminder...

I find true spiritual uplift when I am up in the mountains or standing on the beach. Admiring God's creations makes me feel like I am standing in his presence. It is so peaceful!
