Homeschooling with Friends...

A few months ago a dear friend of mine over at thejoyfulchaos needed some help getting her baby nesting room ready. She was due to deliver her fifth blessing very soon and having a hard time in her last few weeks of pregnancy. I just took along some of our home school work for the children to do during our visit.
I have to say they really did get much of their work accomplished that day, even while surrounded by friends.
Doesn't their sweet smiles bring happiness to your day...

Such a fabulous blessing! One of the many MANY reasons I love homeschooling.
And what a wonderful lesson you taught your children, by moving the school day in order to serve a friend. :-)

My girls have ALWAYS loved schooling with friends.
When they were little we would get together for 'special' projects and now that they are in high school, they go weekly to a co-op and love it!!

Great post!
