Sheets in the wind...

Who ever said you need money to have fun. How about a king size sheet and a front moving in~ The kids had the best time flying their sheet. The air was warm and the wind was strong. This lasted for most of the afternoon. I even got in on some of the sheet flying. I truly had so much fun photographing them. They are silly and make me laugh everyday... Oh and the shirts. Aren't they great. Whats even better, they were 3 dollars each at Walmart. I couldn't pass it up. So what a blessing to receive a day as this in January. The ice storm made its way in not too long after. You just never know what you are going to get living here. Its always changing. When it changes to a day like this one, we take advantage of the fresh air, burn up some energy and enjoy the sunshine~ So next time the wind moves through, get the kids , a large sheet and have some fun~

I forgot where you live...it must be semi-warm! ;) Neat pics!! At first, when I saw your blog title, I thought it was about clotheslines. I was so pathetically excited! :) I miss my clothesline right now...don't get out too it too much in -13 degree weather...:)

This is better though...KIDS! They will always be better than things.
Thanks for sharing!

Great shots, love the one of all three of them.

You can really tell by their expressions just how much they were enjoying themselves.

I LOVE that idea! ;) hm... today would have been lovely to do that... we had sunshine, blue sky and a little wind! We built tepees (sp?) one summer out of sheets and bamboo poles... SO much fun! Now if I had only used my camera that day!
Have a Great Weekend!

It's so true... some of the funnest things don't cost a cent! All it takes is the imagination of a child and a free spirit!! I remember doing things like that when I was a kid...brings back some fun memories. Your kids are SO darn cute. I know I say that in almost every comment. But when it's true... well, it just is!! ;)

And I'm curious how your Orzo recipe turned out? It LOOKS delicious! I'd love to try it myself.

Have a blessed weekend! <><
