Heals our hearts

My mind and my heart have been filled with the loss that our family has endured this past week. This is why it has been hard to post anything here. I found myself sitting in front of a blank new Post screen with nothing to add, only the cries and the heartbroken faces of our loved ones. I also felt it inappropriate to post bright photographs in a time of such sorrow. As our Lord teaches us that life keeps on moving and this is what heals our hearts. So today I'm choosing to keep moving, here I have newly edited photographs. Little Man and I had the best time planting flowers the day before Mothers Day. This is something we do each year. There is no better Mothers Day gift than the simple times with my children. For these times are the ones we hold closest to our heart.

Praying for you and your extended family. God uses times like these to draw us in and remind us what is most important.

I understand, somewhat what you have been going thru, I have loved and lost several loved ones very close to me. It is something that you cannot prepare yourself for nor ever understand how it feels until it happens to you. I just recently mourned, well am still mourning with my daughter her stillborn baby boy. I have to say that gardening helps heal the heart though!! So do baby goats!! I can't wait for pictures of yours!!

Have a great weekend full of family and friends and lots of healing! God Bless, Becky

When I was younger, one of my best friends passed away. It was crushing. My dad said then "You live for the living." So true. And I believe in so doing, you honor that person's life as well. I'm so sorry for your loss, as I am all to aware of the gaping hole it leaves in your hearts. Time and faith will help it heal.

Beautiful pictures. What a sweet idea to plant flowers together. I have seen this so much around blog land. I have never had a green thumb but am trying. What a nice way to spend the day before Mother's day.

Hugs for you, dear friend. I kept scrolling to see what I missed as I've been off line for several days...I'm praying for you to know the tender, merciful hand of the Lord through this time in a very special way.
XOXO,
Kathy
