Sweet Pea always is a big help in the kitchen. Some evenings the stove is too hot for her to help, so I give her a bowl of flour and water to play with as I cook.
Now that summer is here our two older children are outback swinging, running through the sprinkler or climbing trees. They love to play as the sun goes down. It's a good time of the day for me as well. Allen is going to be home soon, I can hear the children's giggles through the crack of the window, events of the day are scrolling through my mind, on this day the smell of fresh basil from the garden fills the kitchen as my sweet little helper and I prepare dinner for the family.
Thanking the Lord for this time in my life~

You all are so sweet, thank you~
that gives me the idea to do that with my kids too. I tried it once before with flour and toy cars to make tracks on the table but it was a huge mess....lol. But it is cute.
