December 6th is the feast day of Saint Nicholas! How many of you celebrated this day as well? It's such a wonderful way to separate Christ birth from Santa Clause. As we also learn about a blessed saint. Here I want to share the story of Saint Nicholas and the projects we created to celebrate. If you celebrated this feast day, please add your link in a comment so we all can see. Thanking the Lord for this blessed saint~
The Veggie Tales St. Nicholas is a wonderful buy! We loved it. Here is the link if you too would like to add it to your family movies. http://www.amazon.com/Veggie-Tales-Nicholas-Joyful-Giving/dp/B002FOFX6U

I will have to go see if you have posted on St. Nicholas as well. I love the the idea of putting outyour boots. My kids would love that. Blessings Catherine
Lovely! Next year, we'll have to post pics of the party we have together. :-) I'm working on a blog post about our St. Nick's Day, but the little ones are needy.
Dear Catherine Anne,
We too love the Advent feasts. Our St Nicholas clelbration is one of the favourites, but then we love OLOG and St Lucia.
We put out shoes out for Epithany so use our stockings for St Nicholas. I like different things to celebrate different days
Hope you drop by to have a look
Blessings
Gae
I saw it listed on my calendar, but have never paid attention or known what it was, so thanks for sharing :-)
Love it! We've talked about planning an Epiphany party before--let's do it! The Feast of the Epiphany is on a Thursday this year. We can do it at someone's house or we can get a room somewhere, what do you think?

Thank you all!!!
Thanks for sharing this. It's always a joy to read your blog and find out little tidbits from church history as well as how you merge them into your lives.
