A painter paints pictures on canvas. But musicians paint their pictures on silence. Music is what feelings sound like. Music is the poetry of the air.
Music is fun.
Music is happy.
Music is emotions.
Music is expression.
Music is art.
Music is love.
Music is laughter.
Music is apart of our family.
It has flown down trough generations.
If you were to ask Allen when he learned to play the drums, his response would be " I really don't remember learning. It was something written within me".
Naturally our children are enjoying this same passion for music. I have a love for music. I always have. Although I have zero talent. Singing in my car is as far as it goes.
What about you? Do you live with little musicians as well? Thanking the Lord for this talent passed on from their father.

My husband teaches Guitar and plays at our church. He picks up the guitar daily at home and plays for us. I'm too very blessed to be surrounded by beautiful music!!
We love piano in our house. I am not a professional pianist by no means, but I did take lessons for 12 years! (Thank you, Mom, for making me). Now I teach my kids and get to hear the beautiful sounds throughout the day.

We dont play any instruments in our house but I agree with you on all the wonderful things that music brings to our lives. We all have a very strong pull towards the beauty of music.
