Once more, adventure was found.
We set out early on this beautiful fallish day. I was greeted with that groggy eyed excitement as I woke the kids. Don't you just love their morning smiles.
On this day our adventure was chocolate milk and coffee at the Rivermarket, exploring the riverfront, watching the boats and bikers, climbing at the park, riding the trolley and experiencing past-time at the History Museum. Best of all, on this Family Fun Day we felt like US again. The heaviness of all the decisions to be made were lifted. We found more than an adventure, we found US.
Thanking the Lord for simple adventures that in some way ground you all over again.
