Our home school group decided to take a trip to Heifer International museum. 
The museum has only been open for a few months. It was such a neat place. The kids and I both left there knowing much more then when we entered. 
We then decided to have a picnic lunch at the riverfront and end our day with a trolley ride throughout the city. Not only was this an educational fun trip. It was near free. The only cost was a 1.50 trolley ride for me and my three children. Cant beat it!
