I can not believe I am even blogging about this but here goes. After living out in the country for 9 years we have only had one other experience as this. What experience you may ask. A mouse in the house. AHHHH! I HATE them. I'm guessing we have not had this problem because we have had cats around. We now have not owned a pet cat in about 6 months. Last week I saw this flash of grey run across the floor. Poor Allen was up all night with me moving the mattress, cleaning out the closet and even ending up sleeping on the couch with me. I didn't want the kids to get up and come in contact with our mouse trap. Thankfully we caught him. After sterilizing and shampooing I'm thinking we are all back to normal. Last night the kids and I are home alone when I see another flash of dark grey run past. I scream like a scaredy cat. What a bad mom. By screaming I then scare my children. Lets just say I didn't sleep too well last night because of children in bed with me and dreams of little mice. AHHH! Today I'm on a quest for a new pet cat and hopes of killing that little flash of grey I saw last night. Tell me am I crazy for freaking out so much or do you all feel the same as me.

You are not crazy. We used to get mice in our garage...and once I had a crazy hair to turn my garage into the school room. Well, I didn't realize we had mice in the garage at the time...until I got everything moved in. Then I saw it. I was scared to even go in there. And THEN....we got some in our house!! It was in our bedroom, and then I saw one run into our closet, (right by our toilet...that I then wouldn't use). Girl, I was crazy over those mice. My mom got me these traps...they were these little black boxes, where they go in but can't come out, and you don't see it dead. (Clay emptied them for me...the first one, I actually just threw the whole thing away). We put a little bit of peanut butter. Those traps were awesome...we caught them all the same day.

what do they say in the movies? EEEEKKKK! Hate mice! We had a mouse problem at our first base - the whole base was infested and since we lived on base.... it was horrible - we killed 20 mice before we moved out!
Yikes! We had one in our house a couple years ago. Actually, by the time we were done with them, we killed three. They are horrible, and you feel so nasty no matter how much you clean. I will pray that the little nasties die!

LOL I am rolling over the comments. Well I think they are all dead. Or I pray that they are. Oh yeah and we have cats on the way!!!!
