After receiving a wonderful report from the burn unit about Allen's hand we decided to go for the one night getaway in the mountains. Enjoying this beautiful fall weather. We are all still a little stuffy with this cold that arrived last week. We just packed our cold meds and teas to take along with us. I have so many photographs I want to share with you. I am going to have to break them up in different post. This is Sweet Pea looking for treasures on our nature walk this morning~ Fall really is just a beautiful time of year especially here in the mountains. I sat to watch the kids and Allen look for treasures and rest for a moment before hiking back. As I sat there I looked up at the leaves in shades of red, yellow, green and brown. They were falling straight down upon us. It looked like something from a dream. There is no way I could capture the full beauty in a photograph. Its just one of those memories I will hold in my heart and mind forever. Only something made by God could ever be this beautiful! Thank you Lord for the amazing gift of nature~

Lovin' the expression on her little face. If we as adults could just hold to that wonder when we experience life.
Such adorable pictures! Yesterday Jeremy and I were hunting togehter ~ but for me it was more like nature-watching. It was so gorgeous. I could not stop staring at all the trees, and those cute little quail. God provides such awesome entertainment! :)
I can imagine those amazing autumn colours and the leaves all around... it's beautiful this time of year!
