Soon after playing with our new turtle named pig and our first few subjects were done the whole family set out on a treasure hunt looking for the most amazing leaves. We were gathering leaves for fall decorations and crafts. We walked around our property watching the children pick out their favorite leaves then adding to the basket.
We began to hear a sound in the distance, as we walked closer the sound it became louder and much more recognizable ( Oink Oink). Little Man yells A PIG I hear a PIG!!!! He takes off running with Sunshine and sweet pea following.
Allen looks over to me with the best smile. Yes we got him! He is a hard one to surprise. So Happy Birthday Little Man its just what you asked for, your very own pig! The next few hours we spent getting to know Ms.Piggy, or Charlotte, or Ms Soooie. We just don't know her name yet. Little Man is still pondering on this one. The Goats, the dog, the rabbit and even the chickens have welcomed her to the family!
When it comes to our turtle named pig, I think we are going to set him free into the wild. He climbed out of his bowl, then roamed throughout the house for a complete day. Thankfully I came across him walking down the hallway. What a wild story of animals!

I can't believe you "found" a pig! We have so much fun raising and showing hogs for the fair...one of our favorite things to do :)
