Every so often when Allen has to work overnight the kids and I enjoy taking him to and from work. Its about a 40 minute drive. Our favorite part of driving daddy to work is the mornings. We wake up while its still dark bundled in our pjs and blankets enjoying the morning dew, the fog falling over fields and the sunrise. We all just love the sunrise! Our favorite part is the moment we see Daddy walking to the van with a smile on his face happy to see his family. There is something about the world this early in the morning. Everything is fresh and new just arising with rejuvenation setting out for a brand new day. In many ways its exciting not knowing exactly what adventures will come your way. Its exciting to start fresh if the day before was not your best of days. Its exciting to have one more day spending it with your loved ones. Thank you lord for all the moments that come with each day~

I totally know how you feel! Well, my husband has never had to work overnight, but there have been times when we picked him up from the Bart station, and the kids get so excited to see him walking toward the car (and vice versa). It's so fun for them to do that!
That sounds like so much fun. Taylor isn't quite old enough for that yet but I'de love for her to see the sunrise, so pretty.

The little ones love it when we go to ACH to visit Daddy. They love it!! And I still get butterflies watching him walk over to the van!! Gotta love it!
