Making Christmas Cards

After school the kids and I decided to make Christmas cards for their friends in the home school group. I found a 6 pack of stamps for around a dollar at wal-mart the other day. They had a blast with the stamps. Two of them are now out of ink. You get what you pay for. Hey I think it was a good way to spend a dollar. The kids were busy with this for a good hour. It was fun seeing their creative minds thinking up designs for their cards. Sweet Pea used her stamp for lip stick and walked around with green ink on her face. They now can not wait to hand them out to their friends. I love this time of year...

My girls love to make cards and gift tags. Pretty much any sort of craft, and they're game! :) Add a stamp . . . they'd be at it for hours! Looks like fun!

How lovely to see your kids have so much fun being creative. And what is THAT I spot in the back...a Xmas tree already. Is this for real that you guys have it up so soon..? Or is this because the kids love it? In Holland we only put it up a week before xmas....How funny things can be different in the world.

My girls love doing all this crafty stuff. I have piles of their stuff. Of course I can't throw it away. :o)
I have a green/red paper chain too, made with love by them.

How fun! I was just thinking about trying to find some cheap stamps, so I'll have to make a run to WM!
