After two different occasions and many attempts on each occasion this is the family photos we came up with for 2009. We do our photographs using a timer on our camera and a tripod. Sweet Pea is just a hand full. We have failed miserably with each attempt on capturing a suitable family photo for 2009. She first refuses to wear a hair bow and then gives ugly, mean faces when the camera goes off. So wallah here it is folks... I guess I will just look back and remember our tiny mess that refused to smile for her family photo. Oddly I'm sure it will bring a smile to my face. Here's hoping your family photo shoot goes smoothly and resulting in beautiful photographs...

I love them. The first one is so cute. Did you set the timer or did someone else take them?
We set the timer. Wish Sweet pea would have smiled/// Thank you
They turned out wonderful! I am dreading doing the kids picture for our Christmas cards. Wish me luck!!
They are both great even if she isn't smiling. It makes it real and like you said you can look back on them and laugh and remeber the day.
I love em both but I like the first one, what a fun day a memory captured in stone to remeniss on later on down the road.
Beautiful family.

What a beautiful family! I think they are both great!!
Awww, she looks awfully cute though!
Awww, she looks awfully cute though!
I think those pics are really good especially since you used a tripod and timer. I used to get upset when my nephews wouldn't do what I wanted when I took their pictures. When I look back at them, the ones I thought were "messed up" are now some of my favorite pictures of them. Sweet Pea's little shoes are adorable.
I think they both turned out great! They always do:) She looks like her self...a beautiful lil mess:) Love you!
You will also lovingly tease her one day..especially when she has her own kids.
Blessings, andrea
You'll love them! And I think they are great!
I took out my Santa pictures from last year. Both (only had two last year) were bawling! It was really cute!

I find over the years that the best pictures are the ones that convey the "real" personality of the moment! I just put a series of Natalie on my blog a few days ago that included her sticking out her tongue...it was all in humor, and absolutely adorable. Love it!
Aw, they're both adorable! I love the first one though, I love it when their personalities come out in the photos!
The last time we had pictures taken my daughter had a total meltdown. She did not want to smile for the camera and be happy. She cried during most of the session. Our photographer was really great and let us reschedule for another day. But I still ended up ordering a few of the pictures with my daughter crying. =)
We haven't had a decent family photo since our fourth child was an infant! Too many random elements in a family of eight...
Don't give it another thought--they are precious!
I have found that as the years go by...there is something perfect about the imperfect family picture. It shows the character of each at that particular stage of life.
Perfect picture!
i think #2 is really cute
I think it is so cute. My daughter did this when she was that age. We have a Christmas photo where she is she has this huge frown on her face. We laugh about it now.
They are great :) Yup, it will definitely be a special memory for you!
Ha! Been there {just last month, actually}. But these are adorable. Beautiful, in fact.
What a beautiful family....gorgeous children! You are blessed indeed! Thank you so much for your kind comment on my blog! I really appreciate it! : )
What a ca-ute family you all are. I just happened to stumble upon your blog. I love it! I am following. Stop by and see me sometime!
It's not easy, is it? We'll attempt our picture on Saturday!
Joyfully,
Wylie
