Fabric flowers

After purchasing a cute fabric flowered headband from old navy a few months ago, I decided to play around with some of my own spare fabric. This is what I came up with. It was really easy and turned out in what I think is pretty cute. There is so much you can do with them after they are made. I have ideas of barrettes, headbands and necklaces as you see here. I also think bracelets, pins, earrings, pillows, dresses etc. I have found myself sticking them everywhere. What ideas do you have when it comes to these fabric flowers. This is a little off the subject of flowers but I also added a photograph of some little friends I made for the kiddos last week. Sweet pea has had a lot of fun with the mommy and the baby...

Catherine,

I could see making these little pins that you could add to backpacks and purses that our kids take to school. How beautiful are these!

Those are quirky and lovely! I wish I could sew *sigh* (not for lack of trying - it just really isn't a skill set I own).
