MY HOUSE HAS BEEN UP SIDE DOWN

You may be asking whats been keeping me from blogging? MY HOUSE HAS BEEN UP SIDE DOWN!!!! But I'm getting new flooring, so who cares! I can fix the mess. Here are a few photos of our flooring journey. We have been moving furniture, cutting and laying floor, eating what and where we can, dancing on crisp new floors in an empty room with our voices echoing. Best of all. The plywood under the new flooring has my children's art work all over it. They loved being able to write on the floor. I say they, but I too thought it was pretty fun!

Oh and today is mine and Allen's 11 year wedding anniversary! What a great anniversary gift!

Happy Anniversary! And how very fun that you have those memmories barried under your new floor! Think how cool it will be for someone to find those pictures 20 years from now! Glad you captured it on camera!

What a great idea! Can you imagine finding something like that while you were laying new flooring? How fun!
I know what your going though, we had an ice storm in January of 2009 that damaged our upstairs flooring, long story but anyway my house was upside down for a long time and it was no fun. But certainly a blessing in the end!

Awesome...and what great progress! As for the accumulation of sand and grime...isn't that disgusting? I can't imagine what is under our carpets!!!Yuck!

How special that 10 years down the road, you can look at your wood floors and know that it's protecting your babies' artwork!

Happy Anniversary :)

That is so cool that they drew on the flooring before the new stuff was put in!! How sweet to know it'll always be underfoot. Imagine a hundred years from now when a new family is replacing the flooring and they rip it up to find all that love underneath!
Happy Anny!

I have heard that it is so stressful renovating a house...while living in it. I am impressed with your optimism. It will be fun seeing the pictures when you are done.'

Happy belated anniversary. You two have such a neat marriage.
