Take time to stop and smell the daffodils

..................
Following yesterdays post after ice cream we then ran to pay a few bills. On our way home I noticed an empty parking lot with daffodils covering the vacant side yard. Turning around the kids were curious to what we were doing. As I pulled into the parking lot they too noticed the bright yellow daffodils. I smiled watching them run through the flowers picking handfuls. Wow what a way to spend an afternoon paying bills. Sometimes you just have to stop and smell the roses, well daffodils in this case.
So what did we do with all these beautiful flowers? They make me think of spring time, love and happy memories? I placed them all over our home...

What a wonderful find! All you can see here are the tips of the blades poking through the ground. I am ready for my yellow blooms to make their appearance. Enjoy them!

Catherine, I can smell the daffodils in my mind right now! What adorable pictures! The daffodils are not blooming here yet- but these pictures brought me a virtual breath of spring air.
Your blog is lovely! I really got a chuckle from all of your sweet ones quotes and quips!
I am so glad I have visited.

Me again, I just read your Mommy, I want to be a rainbow post. It made me cry! What a wonderful and touching post. Helping our children learn about God, life and themselves is such a joy. Raising my children, I felt blessed beyond measure. And now that they are young adults I Praise God for how He is working in their lives.
Thanks for the reminder!

Daffodils are my favorite flower. The bright yellow is just beautiful! They look so cheery all over your house. And your house looks really clean and tidy--how do you do that with children underfoot?!

lol, oh its not all the time. I try and have two clean ups per day. Toys are all over the place much of the time...
