Happy St.Patricks Day

Here we are celebrating the feast day of St. Patrick. The Patron saint of Ireland b. 387 d.461. During home school today we read and talked about St. Patrick. If you too are interested in his story click here.
The kiddos wrote in their journals and illustrated a picture. I always love reading story's from their journals.  Happy St. Patricks day from our bunch...

Fun! Fun! Happy St. Patty's day to you! We have really enjoyed learning the details of St. Patrick's life this year. It makes the silly stuff that much more meaningful.

well i had cameras that did that and it was only a mtter of time that it broke afterwards. Maybe there is dirt inside the lense? If I could particles of sand in the lense it did that and then broke.

nice pics btw.

This post reminds me of why I want to homeschool my boys. Love real life application! It makes learning so much more meaningful.
Also, I'm very partial to the green hair you're sporting in the previous post. Not many people can pull that off!

Love all the green shirts!

I don't know if it is the same thing you are talking about, but sometimes with my Canon EOS the button to take the picture freezes and I can't take the shot. It's almost like there is something sticky behind the button - but other times I don't have any problems.

Love the pics - looks like a marvelous day!

And my Rebel sometimes gets a bit, err.. "REBEL"ious! :) I find that some macro shots it just refuses to snap. But it usually obeys and I'm too scared to send it in, haha.

I enjoyed reading (re-reading) about St. Patrick this year. It's so motivating learning about all the saints who have gone before - braving hostile environments to bring the love of Christ to others.

I haven't had a problem with my Canon camera per se. But the original lens I bought with my camera froze up until it stopped working. It wasn't the sharpest, so I happily replaced it at the time.
