This is the first year Little Man needed to take his end of the year test. The test is not only given to home school students, but for all children in school.
The location we picked was about 30 to 40 minutes away in a large church filled with home school students and families.
Little Man has the tendency to over think things again and again. He was very nervous about taking his test. The unknown was bothering him. We talked and prayed about it.
I was tickled with him the morning of his test, he walked in the kitchen to eat breakfast with a colorful strand of yarn and three metals handing around his neck.
One the sacred heart of Jesus, the second the Holy family and third a garden angel. My grandmother said, well in the future he will always know where to go for help.
His innocents just melts me. That night we enjoyed his favorite cake and ice cream with dinner, a homemade banner and a card from his grandparents. The first day of testing is something to celebrate in this family.
