For your basil to grow the best way possible you are to nip the flower ends off, and don't put those flowers to waste. Here Little Man and I have added them to a vase with a few other garden flowers to pretty things up. That wonderful basil smell now fills the kitchen...

Isn't the smell of basil so soothing? I love when I'm pinching off the flower ends and then my fingertips smell like basil for the next few hours. Mmmm!

you can eat them too! My daughter would live on them lol they are a little sweet but I think half the fun is in the idea of eating flowers. But your vase looks very pretty, I love buches of herbs.
