Preparing Dinner Making Memories

...
There is just something wonderful about shucking the corn, slicing the squash, shelling the peas and having them for dinner.
Not only are they delicious and truly organic, memories are made.
Making memories as a family as we arw working towards a goal as well as a beautiful dinner is rewarding.
Thanking the Lord for memories~

Beautiful! Do you have any creative ways for using that squash? We've got a lot and sometimes I run out of inspiration!

I couldn't agree more.
We have some special times around here preparing for dinner. So when some days seem to fully consume me and I don't feel like I've gotten a thing done, I can look back and say, at least I've taken the time for my children today!
Great post!

What a beautiful post (and photos), too often I find myself saying "please get out from under my feet." I need to make it an enjoyable event.

I have fond memories of shucking corn in preparation for making green corn tamales and spending hours soaking husks and filling red chili tamales.

We also have a yearly tradition of canning with my mom.

You are right, these simple times make lasting memories of family.
