There is Life in the Melon Row

..This has been our first year to plant watermelons... Its been interesting.
After believing they were going to be a total dud...  There is life in the melon row! '...As I was sitting down to read a few verses Little man bust in the door yelling "momma, you have got to come see". Walking out or I could say running out to the garden, the tiny watermelons have decided to grow late in season.
Sweet Pea pulled one off the vine about the size of a golf ball. I was giddy after cutting it open. Red watermelon along with seeds. It really was cute. Who knows if they will grow in size one day tasting wonderful. Until then we will be babying them waiting to find out...
Thanking the Lord for this time in our life~

Yay for watermelons! Our garden has been so strange this year--but we're finally starting to get some produce. Great photos!

Aww our watermelon plants have been a dud this year too, I wonder what it is...

Maybe we'll get lucky and ours will have baby melons like yours, they're so cute!

I think one of my favorite parts of gardening is seeing how the children react to new finds. :-) These are adorable watermelons and adorable kids too!

We planted those sugar babies, too. It seems like they take forever to appear, but just keep them watered! The kids' excitement is the best part, though!!!
