For you that want to create a fun unique costume for your little one, this may help.
Tips on Creating Unique Fun Costumes
Little Man, as a cowboy $8 total
- Hat~ He already owned. ($0)
- If you need one for cheap I would say go to Wal-Mart toys, you can find one around $5. Craft stores also have them for cheap.
- Button-up- Spirit of Sharing Store. Homemade cowboy shirt. ($1)
- Vest-Wal-Mart, Fabric cut and pieced together. ($2)
- Jeans, belt and boots were all his ($0) If I had to go buy them I would be looking at goodwill.
- Chaps~ Real chaps-Spirit of sharing. ($3)
- Star/ homemade- white paper and silver paint ($1) {half with Sweet Pea}
- Dorthy dress -Spirit of sharing ($3)
- bow for her hair- Wal-Mart ($1)
- Red shoes-Wal-Mart ($10) She wore them all fall and winter.
- Dog and basket we already owned.
- The dog was a white. We sprayed him with brown hairspray~ ($3)
Sweet Pea as Glinda ($4)
- Dress up-Spirit of Sharing ($3)
- Crown and name-tag/homemade- headband, paper, silver paint ($1) {half with Little Man}
- Shoes and undershirt already hers.

Your kiddos look simply adorable in their costumes! Little Man makes a fine Sheriff! Sunshine is the sweetest Dorothy I've ever seen--I have to admit, I did a double-take when I looked at her dog...it's so realistic looking! And as for Sweet Pea as Glinda...precious, just precious! (I especially like her crown!)
