Ramble {real} Ramble

As I was getting ready to post a really neat  craft, I decided it was time for a ramble. You know how it goes, so many thoughts at one moment.
Why not just put it out there!

School~
We are getting back in the swing of things when it comes to school. We had some really great days last week. Light bulbs going off and fun learning. Yes, fun and learning can go hand and hand! Somedays I have to tell myself this.

Thanks to my handy husband we have a new chalkboard. Can't wait to blog about it soon.

As most of the kids will be out of school tomorrow, we are not. After much time off we are ready for structure. With this we will be learning about St.Anthony and Dr.Martin Luther King Jr.

LIFE~
Umm what else, lets see. The March for Life is coming up next weekend. I pray we have a large turn out. To stand up for LIFE. So many of us do not do this enough. We are afraid to stick out of the crowd. We must  for the innocent!
I hate to hop from something this deep to something surface... but it's a ramble right!
Treadmill disliker~~
There is something sitting in my bedroom. Something that was given to us from Allen's grandmother. Something I truly need to use daily! Any guess??? OK well it's a treadmill and it's looking at me straight in the face. It's saying "Catherine You know you need to walk over here and use me. That's what I'm here for."
Allen has taken total advantage of it. Walking for well over an hour. Then moving to the Wii Fit. Wow, can I have some of that humph. PLEASE.
You see I have put on  weight this year. Who knows why. Could it be the age that crept up on me or the many fourth meals enjoyed in the evenings. No matter how it got here. It's here and I'm ready to give it away.
I did walk, one day~
I locked Allen and the kids out of my room. I turned my music up and jumped into my work out clothes. As I walked I could see little eyes watching me through the crack in the door. With this I had to smile.
I could hear " Look at mommy, she is doing good". Of course I could not stop yet, even if I was exhausted after five minutes. So I walked~
I walked for twelve minutes and it made me sick. Yes nauseated sick. What about you? Do you get nauseated from working out?

Worries~  My parents health. Allen's grandparents health. It's a worry. Doing my best to place this in the hands of the Lord. This is something I have not yet blogged about. But, would appreciate your prayers.
Small worries~ Will Little Man understand this next huge leap in math? When will Sunshine move up another level in her reading. Will Little Man learn to love reading? Sweet Pea and her development is always a small worry. Finances, will we stay on our big plan? Will we? Oh I pray that we will. This is a new year with a new plan. I very frugal plan that is going to take much diligence and discipline.

Good Read~
Another ramble is my Mothers Rule of Life. A wonderful read I have just finished. A life changing read. Something I really can not wait to blog about. It will take some time to fully blog about this topic. It will also have to come in a number of post.

Thoughts of our family~
This is always part of my ramble. Thoughts of a larger family. Thoughts of fostering and adoption. Not enough time. This must come in a post of it's own.

Mommy~
Sweet Pea and her new independence. How I miss her need of my help.

Congratulations,
To our cousins that have welcomed a baby boy into the world. We are so very happy for you. He is beautiful!

Remodeling~
Excited thoughts of remodeling going on this week and the huge build on coming in two years. Some days I daydream of the build on. It's fun to make fugal plans as our family grows. At the same time I am pacing myself to be content and live in the moment. Enjoy what is.

SNOW~
Our snow week. As I'm sure many of you enjoyed. So how was it? We had loads of fun. My children have never seen this amount of snow. Allen and  I have only once or twice. It was peaceful waking up to a white blanket of snow as I enjoyed my coffee each morning. I am also looking forward to a multi-photo snow post soon.

Birthday~
My amazing husbands 29th birthday that is only days away.

Blog talk~
Thoughts of updating my blog. I do not like my header. I have not been in the mood to edit. Until then I will be thinking of a new creation. Oh and 250 followers. You each are DEAR to me. Thank you!!!

Mass and Family~
A blessed day enjoyed today. Mass, the word today is thoughts of our baptismal promise. I also enjoyed seeing and teaching my First Holy Communion class. This afternoon we had Allen's family over for lunch and dinner. It was nice seeing them all here at our home.

The pile of clean clothes that really need to be folded.  Finding the time to fold them. Yes, I know I am blogging. Blogging is pretty important, right?
With that, this must be the end of my ramble.
Looking over my thoughts I am grateful for them and place them each in the Lords hands. Asking him to guide me and my family on his path.
So what's your ramble?

I have much of the same ramble as you do in addition to some of my own. We are with you today in school, learning about martin luther king. When I read your post I thought of him and one of my favorite quotes...that a man is not ready to live unless he is ready to die for something. That took me back to what I read just last night in Matthew ch 16 vs 25 when Jesus says: for whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it...

It is so refreshing to ramble with you this morning. I don't usually make a comment this long, but then again how many poeple are "real" out there???

I am thankful for friends like you who stand up for issues that are right and that are near and dear to my heart too. {as well as God}

I meant to tell you that I love the new header on your blog...I think it's my favorite so far.

I want to got to the march for life but it may be difficult with the baby (8months). I have wanted to for so long but my children have never been the stand in the cold type kids...and it wouldn't be a good idea for them. I wanted to send my eldest (12) on a bus with our church but she doesn't want to go without me....soooo.

working out--I do get nauseated and shaky from working out so I do easy workouts. I prefer walking to running etc...but I always thought it meant that I had blood sugar issues, which I do. Do you?

love your rambles!

I like to read your lengthy rambles ;) Thanks for sharing.

I'd like to also see some tutorials on how you get those red colors to pop like that. Are you using Photoshop?

Blessings!
