Seeding...cover our hands in dirt~

On this day we planted a long list of vegetable seeds.
The day was warm and windy. It felt nice to get out and cover our hands in dirt. Planting is one of those little things I often speak of. It's good for the the cooped up winter mind, if you know what I mean.
I often find myself looking back at the photographs of our day.  I remember all the moments that made it special. The moments that define where we are in this life. I just love the toddler in the background climbing into the greenhouse. As my other little ones are completely focused on their seeding.
Today I am thanking my Lord for allowing me the knowledge of my place. The understanding of his plan. The plan to be home with my family. Finding success in my work. In my mothers rule of  life. Even on my more challenging days, there is no place I would rather be.
Psalms 127: 3 Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is His reward.

love that little greenhouse!
What a great idea!

what a sweet, blessed post. I love how you mention that you are thankful for the knowledge of your place. Those words hit home for me. I can relate to that so much and in the middle of chaos, when all is quite sometimes I am thankful too.

A lovely reminder today;)

Awwww, I love this! And I didn't even notice the toddler in the background until you pointed it out-- too funny!!

Planting is good for the soul. God made us in His image, with the desire for creation and growth. :) I can't wait to get our seeds planted!
