Springtime at the Homestead~

The homestead is coming alive as the season of spring approaches. Bare feet covered in paint are busy chasing roosters. Empty pots are waiting for fresh dirt and flowers. Seeds are in the garden.  A baby goat is growing tall. The hound dog sits lazy on the porch.  A.colorful tree house is being created. Horse hair blows in the warm wind. Roosters stop pecking momentarily  for a drink. Children are playing. Green weeds are spouting..Beautiful buds are forming in the trees. Spring is here and the homestead is grateful..What about you? What are you doing as spring approaches?

How fun!!!! We still have about 3 feet of snow on the ground, so can't wait for spring to let our chicken out!!!!

I wish Spring would arrive here already! :) We just bought baby chicks and pheasants, but that is the closest to Spring we've gotten. Hopefully we'll see just a peek of sunshine sometime this week! :)

Love all your photos Catherine Anne!!

We've got a warming bench this year in our greenhouse. I've got peas and broccoli up. It's a good thing I've got warming bench, because I can't remember the last day it wasn't raining. It's mucky everywhere. I can't wait for summer and bare feet. I love that.
