Picnic, fly kites and just be~

Each year I try and get a few photos of the kiddos in the Easter outfits sitting in the middle of bright beautiful daffodils. This goes back to me being a little girl. My mother took me to the fields of daffodils a few times. Those times really stick out for me. It was a fun special time in my life. I can remember feeling free as I ran and flipped around in the middle of them. Now what I try to do is get a few snaps of the kids in their Easter outfit. Then they all hop in the van to change into their play clothes. We picnic, fly kites and just be~ Its always a relaxing day. This year we didn't go to the mountain top we usually do. We found a great spot beside an old abandoned house. I was unable to get the relaxing, running, jumping and playing photos due to my camera freezing up. Those are photographs Ill just have to hold here in my heart and memory. But really they are the best kind. Here's to you creating photographs to hold in your heart~

I love the photos! They are so cute. I am going back home tomorrow to Washington and we have LOTS of daffodils and tulips this time of year in Skagit County. I am going to take my Princess and get some good pics. :)

Blessings!

Oh, and their outfits are darling!

Great pictures! We accidentally took cherry blossom pictures a couple times when my kids were very young... and they were so cute... we try to take some every year... sometimes the rain doesn't cooperate with the blossom times!! daffodils are better for that reason alone!! =)

Fun idea to have a picnic too!
I might try to pull this off tomorrow!?? ;)
