Beautiful song! How I want to be a Samuel, hearing God's voice, listening to it - and having someone guide us to answering it. As a mother, I think that is one of my most precious tasks - to teach my sons to listen, to hear God's voice - and to have the courage and conviction to answer it!
One of my favorite hymns ever. I tear up every time I hear it! Dan Schutte is an incredible composer, and he's close friends with my parish's Music Director. We use a lot of his music at Mass.
What a blessing to get to hear this song in your dreams! God is Great!
