The wind is rolling and the leaves are falling. The sky is clear and the air is crisp. Autumn charms are visiting today and we are grateful~
Thanking the Lord for seasons and silly time with my Little Man.
On this day we sat in the yard decorating each others face with fall leaves. Something as simple as this created one of my most treasured memories.
Job News
We have wonderful news to share.
Do you remember the job I briefly mentioned in the last ramble? The job that Allen had to pass a test before they would even consider interviewing him?
After much prayer we are excited to say
((((HE GOT THE JOB)))).
((((HE GOT THE JOB)))).
There is so much more to share about this in a post of it's own. Until then I am asking for prayers that we can see the Lord's path he has called us down.
Post-Hospital
I have to admit our last couple of weeks have been HARD. Allen went back to work a few days after I got home. I felt out of the loop in my own life.
The kids also felt out of the loop being off their familiar schedule, with this they came home argumentative and disobedient. I have been prayerfully battling it out and things are getting better.
Although last Monday I noticed fullness and pain under my right rib. After putting it off for a few days I went into the Dr. yesterday. My blood lab came back fine, but I had irritated my digestive track enough to feel the effects. I had no idea I needed to be on a post-pancreatitis diet. This has me revising my dinner menu today. I am so thankful for my family and friends. As I have said before, The Lord has blessed me with wonderful support.
I told Allen with all the change in our lives we are just going to prayerfully take it one day at a time. School News
We all are still struggling jumping back into school. Not even jumping, we are having trouble skipping, walking or even moving into school.
School is happening, don't get me wrong. It just has not been happening with that same inspiration we were filled with at the first of the school year. I'm planning a fun group study this coming Monday to help us all be inspired.
More prayer, right.
Fair Time
Do you remember me talking about the kids plans to show our goat in the fair?
With my healing bump in the road and Allen working they were unable to show this year.
They were still able to enjoy the parade and entered their art and chickens.
This alone has been a full load for one healing momma.

Getting back after a surgery or an illness that has residual effects is tough. Take your time. Go slow and be patient. Patience is the hardest part :)
We have a book, forgot the title, about a scarecrow that has a hard time scaring the crows from the field. Farmer Brown is mad and threatens to get rid of Mr. Scarecrow if he cannot scare those pesky crows.
Mr. Scarecrow, with the help of his friends, the surrounding trees, cover his face with all kinds of fall leaves. These decorations help scare the crows away and Mr. Scarecrow can keep his job.
Just read that story yesterday so I got a good chuckle out of your own leaf decorations!
After I had my last abdominal surgery, we went through the exact same thing. I did more than I should have. Healing was slow and tiring. We fell off of our regular schedule and out of our school routine and....nobody told me to modify my diet for healing my injured internal areas.
It was a long haul for this get up and go mama.
Give yourself time.
Give your body time.
Give your children time.
It will all come back.
Enjoy the weather.
It's gorgeous.
Resettle and then get back in business, you know what I mean?
Sweet Country Blessings~

I'm your newest follower! Thanks for visiting mine! I can't wait to read more about you.
We have been struggling to get back into our groove or rhythm or whatever you want to call it, ever since we got back from Daisy's surgery, too.
I hope that everything comes together for you guys soon. And prayer will help! I will send some your way!
Sometimes we forget that simple things can bring us great joy. Thanks for the reminder.
